"Plants & People, Frac des Pays de la Loire and Musée d'Arts de Nantes"

I’m pleased to announce that my painting: “LION HEARTED CEDER FOREST - The Clearing, from the series Geometry of life” (2019) is currently showing at the Frac des Pays de la Loire from January 28 to April 26, 2026.

The exhibition brings together works from the respective collections of the FRAC des Pays de la Loire and the Art Museum of Nantes.

*At the museum, this intersection of perspectives explores the notions of conservation and preservation through the metaphor of plants. As a poetic and peaceful plea, this opus brings together works that capture the relationship between plants and people, revealing invisible tensions, the resilience of the fragile, the precarious balance of life, and the desire to preserve what may be doomed to disappear.

*At the Frac, the animal perspective is revealed and weaves its web around the theme of vulnerability. The exhibition creates a network of metamorphoses where man and beast merge in a disturbing game of mirrors. Anthropomorphism is no longer a simple technique, but a way of probing empathy where the boundary between “us” and “them” dissolves. Because if animals are our doubles, their fate may foreshadow our own — a cruel fable where disappearance is no longer an abstraction, but an omen.
